Day 8 May 9 on the Camino

Another perfect / no rain day 8 for 8

Left Logrono at 7:45am for our 30km stroll arriving in Najera at 3;30pm having had a couple of breaks

Most of our days are between 21-24kms

Lighter pilgrim traffic these past couple of days as I expect some are starting to take rest days

Our test days are at day 14 and day 28

Others take them more randomly and at times due to injuries they become essential

Nothing much out of the ordinary today as we continue to walk through impeccably groomed vineyard fields and olive orchards

The people are extremely friendly as are all the Camino pilgrims we are meeting from around the world

The Pharmacy’s are starting to be highly sought out when the walkers reach town from sun tan logon, knee wraps and foot care

Our team continues to do well and I would attribute that to all but one have walked the Camino previous and learned from poor care

Our lodgings have been fir the most part exceptional and not having to carry a full back pack has truly been a blessing

Our next two days are both 21 km followed by two 24 km days taking us into Burgos for our first test day

Amazing how fast the time is passing an once I hit Leon I will be retracing my 2017 Camino into Santiago

Thanks for following my journey

Be back tomorrow
