Day 4 Thursday May 5
We finished Day 4 with another relatively normal walk starting our walking through the city of Pamplona which is quite a size / not the most enjoyable walks on the Camino.
Then as the day progressed we faced an uphill steady climb of 300 m to an impressive mountain top where one could see Pamplona one way and our end destination the other way
A steady descent which can be as hard as the uphills on one’s body brought us through three very nice towns prior to arriving at our stay at Puente La Reina. All the towns are impeccably cared for and the people very friendly.
Lots of wind turbines as the mountain tops are rarely without wind
And beautiful fields of Canola and Corn
There are surprisingly a lot of pilgrims walking or riding bikes
One chap was jogging and plans to reach Santiago in 12 days- crazy rate
Our group is in good shape - taking it one day at a time
Till later
